Klabin, a Brazilian packaging manufacturer company with more than 115 years of experience, started Projeto Puma two years ago. The project is based on the creation of a new plant to manufacture paper and cellulose. Located in Ortigueira, Brazilian State of Paraná, the new enterprise shall double the size of the company and ensure the production of 1.5 million tons of cellulose per year.
Reframax has been working on this project since September, it has already assembled the electromechanical warehouse and Drying Plant Shelters and it will take care of the Thermal insulation of the Fiber Line and Cooking Plant. In addition, the company also provides materials for the same units through a partnership with Andritz, Valmet, and Firestone companies, and it is responsible for the assembling and disassembling of all scaffolds.
