Environment and safety have become central issues in modern society. It’s a matter of survival not only for people, but also for the companies and the planet itself. In the past, it was not possible to predict what consequences industry production would cause to environment and to the planet itself. Nowadays the effects are visible in our daily lives. Global warming is an example, and according to United Nations, it is directly related to pollution emission (carbon dioxide) caused by human beings.

In this context, we are all responsible for protecting our planet and adopting environmental concerned practices.

We, then, suggest:

- Respect and be part of the Selective process of selective collection;

- Reduce the waste of materials, food, etc;

- Use natural resources (such as water, power, etc) with responsibility.

Selective Collection

Selective collection is a contemporary issue in modern society. For this reason, Reframax is highly concerned about environmental issues. Along with technological development and more waste produced, collective selection, hence, has been adopted. We have educational programs in environmental education, refractory services, and thermal insulation in our central office. Some actions are: leaflet distribution, selective collection training, use of collector in offices and offices. The recyclable material (plastic, paper) used at Reframax is totally donated to Comarp- Comunidade Associada para Reciclagem de Materiais da Região da Pampulha – in Belo Horizonte, MG. Comarp was founded in 2004 to provide families with jobs and income. At present, it includes 30 workers who depend directly on this wage.
