Reframax, during 53 days, rendered the service of demolishing and application of refractory lining on Anglo American Electrical Furnace/GO, Brazil. The activity was carried out with a team of 80 workers, without any accident.
This highly complex activity demanded from Reframax the coordination of the demolishing, having the company DHAMQ as a subcontractor company, which had an important role on the rendering the services. This service has also demanded great effort from Reframax team due to the integration with two refractory suppliers, RHI, an Austrian company and Magnesita, a Brazilian company, both leaders in their segment.
Using approximately 1200 tons of material, the highlight of the service was the efficiency and dedication in which Reframax performed the activities, resulting in a reduction of 5 days, from the period established to refractory application; consequently, Reframax could finish the job within the period established by the client.
